傳統音樂學系碩士班
設有「古琴」、「琵琶」、「南管樂」、「北管樂」、「音樂理論」與「傳統戲曲」六項主修。以臺灣社會主要族群音樂文化樂種為主軸，培育傳統音樂師資，同時加強演奏、理論及深化編創能力，提供國際多元學習資源以達學術兼備的專業能力。
The M.F.A. Program of the Department of Traditional Music focuses on the prominent traditional music cultures of Taiwan and integrates the ideology of internationalization and modernization. It aims to deepen and strengthen the skills and increase knowledge to nurture qualified performers, researchers and educators in regards to traditional music. There are two divisions for the master degree: performance and theory. Performance majors include Chhin (Qin), Phi-pha (Pipa), Lâm-koán (Nanguan), and Pak-koán (Beiguan) The theory majors include Traditional Theatre and Music Theory.

美術學系碩士班
設有「藝術史與視覺文化」、「水墨」、「繪畫」、「複合媒體」、「雕塑」、「版畫」六項主修。本碩士班創作主修之課程提供當代藝術創作中「知識系譜」與「創作實踐」之參照研究，融合東方與西方、傳統與現代，力求多元化的專業訓練，培養創意能力與個人創作風格。同時著重人文思維內涵與藝術視野的開拓，培養當代藝術理論的認知與思辯能力，且透過工作室創作模式，以強化創作實踐的能力與深度，深化研究生論述與自我審視的檢驗能力。史論主修之課程透過中西藝術史研討、當代藝術觀察與視覺文化研究，兼顧基礎研究能力以及涵蓋主修領域的多元學習要求。同時策辦研究生論文研討會、刊物投稿及語言能力要求，以擴展學生未來從事獨立研究或策展、文化統合與應用發展的視野。
There are two degree concentrations offered within the Department of Fine Arts: M.F.A. Program in Fine Arts, and M.A. Program in Art History and Visual Culture.
【M.F.A. Program in Fine Arts (Chinese Ink Painting, Painting, Multi-media, Sculpture, Printmaking) 】offers a focus on the “genealogy of knowledge” and the “praxis of the creative consciousness” in contemporary art. It gives equal emphasis to the East and West, the traditional and the modern in a diversified training for students. It provides abundant information on contemporary art, and cultivates the individuals’ creativity and style. Apart from offering a liberal environment, the program requires students to put forth a theoretical discourse to support their individual creation. Through discussions, independent studies with professors, and regular exhibitions, artists here are sharpened in their artistic expressions.
【M.A. Program in Art History and Visual Culture】concentrate on the subjects of Chinese and Western Art History, observation of contemporary art, and research on visual culture. Exposed to various activities at the Kuandu Museum of Fine Arts, artists and students’ symposiums and other campus events, young researchers are encouraged to do cross-cultural observations to expand their perspective and enable their research capabilities.

戲劇學系碩士班

The M.A. Program in the Department of Theatre Arts provides trainings for graduate students who aim at specializing in Theatre History and Theory, Theatre Criticism, and Dramaturgy. Our trainings are expected to quip the students with abilities for independent research in a learning environment that combines practical experiences and academic excellence.

舞蹈學系碩士班
「因應系所資源整合、以及深化專業分享，整併舞蹈學系碩士班，下設舞蹈表演、舞蹈創作、理論與跨域身體實踐三項主修。其中舞蹈表演、舞蹈創作主修於二至四年內修畢50學分，完成畢業製作與報告，獲藝術碩士學位(M.F.A.)；理論與跨域身體實踐主修於二至四年修畢36學分，完成學位論文，獲頒碩士學位（M.A.）。教育目標以培育跨領域舞蹈人才、重視舞蹈與身體的展演以及理論實踐，加強科際對話為主軸。課程規劃除各主修專業必修課程外，提供八大選修課程學群：「舞蹈原創性探索」「身體表演實務研究」「身體與科藝」「劇場實務」「文化研究與身體理論」「表演策展與劇場構作」「舞蹈教育與社會實踐」「身心科學與應用」，提供彈性、交織的選課，增廣藝術視野。」
MFA Performance and MFA Choreography
Performance and Choreography majors collaborate in generating an advanced and dynamic culture of performance at TNUA. The two tracks focus on creative excellence in the movement languages of dance, from studio rigor to live production to interdisciplinary performance and dance-for-camera. Although there is a shared and overlapping curriculum, their capstone concert production requirements differ with respect to their focus. The MFA in Dance is earned based on completing 50 credit hours of coursework, a culminating MFA capstone concert, and a written thesis paper supporting the concert production. Student works are promoted locally and internationally through the exchange, invited or adjudicated performances. Their choreographies and performances have been presented on various international platforms in the USA, Australia, France, India, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Malaysia.
MA in Cross-Disciplinary Corporeal Theories and Practice
The program encourages pursuing post-graduate studies in dance research through theoretical and academic framings. Cross-field dance research is the focus. Dance is seen as a performance practice engaged with interdisciplinary dialogue and supported by theoretical fluency. Besides requirements such as Research Methodology in Dance, Theories and Issues in Dance Studies, electives are offered in Body and Movement, Aesthetics and Criticism, Dance Histories, Cultural Studies, Education and Pedagogy. MA candidates have access to some technique and choreography course offerings. Our MA graduate students and alumni have presented their research at conferences held by international organizations such as the Dance Studies Association and the World Dance Alliance. Students who enter the Cross-Disciplinary Corporeal Theories and Practice track earn the MA in Dance upon completing 36 hours of coursework and submitting a written thesis. The length of study for the programs is two to four years.

電影創作學系碩士班
本學系碩士班以培育電影創作與電影研究人才為宗旨，分設導演組、編劇組與電影研究組，前二組授予藝術碩士（MFA）學位，電影研究組授予碩士（MA）學位。教育目標在於使導演組學生能帶領劇組完成兼具作者風格與專業水準之劇情片，編劇組學生能完成具原創性且可供產業拍攝之長片劇本，電影研究組學生能以史觀與理論視野從事電影史、電影美學、電影產業與文化研究。教學採創作實務與學術研究雙軌並行，並與國內外相關學校、產業及創作領域人才進行交流與合作。
The graduate program is dedicated to nurturing talent in filmmaking and film studies. It comprises three divisions: Directing, Screenwriting, and Film Studies. Directing and Screenwriting confer the Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree, and Film Studies confers the Master of Arts (MA). Directing students learn to lead a crew in completing narrative films that combine a distinct authorial style with professional craft. Screenwriting students complete original feature-length screenplays ready for industry production. Film Studies students conduct research in film history, film aesthetics, the film industry and cultural studies. The program pursues creative practice and academic research in parallel, and engages in exchange and collaboration with film schools, industry partners and creative professionals in Taiwan and abroad.

建築與文化資產研究所
為一跨領域研究所，以建築和文化資產之歷史理論為上位知識支持古蹟遺址、文化景觀等有形文化資產研究，以及民俗、傳統工藝美術為主的無形文化資產研究，旨在培育兼具國際視野及地方文化根基的建築史、有形文化資產與無形文化資產之理論及實務的一流人才，並積極提昇水準，成為臺灣建築與文化資產相關議題之學術研究重鎮。
This graduate institute is interdisciplinary, where theories and history of architecture and settlements are examined to underlie the study of tangible cultural heritage, such as historic monuments, archaeological sites, and cultural landscape, in combination with the study of intangible cultural heritage, including folklore, traditional craftsmanship and fine arts. It aims to provide a higher education with international vision and cultural self-identity for prospective academic and practitioners in the aforesaid fields, as well as actively promotes itself as a center of excellence in Taiwan.

藝術創意研究國際碩士學位學程
藝術創意研究國際碩士學位學程，為國內第一個結合藝術與文創為導向之全英語國際碩士學位學程，以北藝大多元豐富的展演教學資源為主軸，側重於當代視覺和表演藝術的跨學科課程，提供基礎研究到實務操作的課程，連接藝術管理的臺灣經驗與世界趨勢，培養符合時代需求的藝術經營專才。本學程提供國際合作發展基金會(ICDF)全額獎學金，除了台灣生，也有來自拉丁美洲友邦和東南亞的藝文領域專業人士，在本學程參與教育部大學社會責任計畫(USR) 「Hi-Five Plus：從北投平埔族群到屏東原住民的國際藝術對話」，處理「全球南方」(Anthropocene)相關的主題時，更能對臺灣的環境生態、南半球與北半球的政治經濟權力結構傾斜、後殖民的歷史經驗等的探討感同身受。本學程是蘇黎世大學”Shared Campus”下的Critical Ecologies (生態思辨)計畫的成員，參與來自香港、新加坡、京都、倫敦和蘇黎世等七個藝術大學合作的跨國藝術交流。
The International MA Program in Studies of Arts and Creative Industries (SAC) of TNUA is the first MA program in Taiwan specializing in the arts and cultural sector while entirely conducted in English. With TNUA’s rich resources in teaching and performance, this interdisciplinary program dives into contemporary visual arts and performing arts. Our courses are divided into three main fields: Arts and Creativity Core Courses, Cultural and Creative Industries Core Courses, and Interdisciplinary Arts Core Courses.
The program has two majors: “Cultural and Creative Industries” and “Interdisciplinary Arts.” Using a variety of critical tools, we provide courses designed for fundamental applied research to connect the arts in Taiwan to the world. SAC is also a part of the Shared Campus Program, an international collaborative program launched by 6 art institutions from different regions in Hong Kong, Singapore, Tokyo, Zurich, and Taipei. This Program engages in the latest issues in contemporary arts, including Critical Ecologies, Global Indigeneity, Cultural Preservation, and Social Engagement. Ranging from art curation to art management, our students will be exposed to a multitude of learning opportunities covering theoretical and practical knowledge.

文學跨域創作研究所
在這個多元媒介、百家爭鳴的年代，舊有的創作疆界也逐漸消融，為了回應時代的折衝、轉變和需求，本所根植於創校以來積累之沃土，以「文學X藝術」做為新的取徑。為培育關照當代議題之文學創作人才，本所課程規劃包含三大部分：文學當代性、當代文學基本問題、當代書寫實踐；以「當代文學實驗室」直面台灣社會，突出當代文學動態性的發展；強調兩大特點：以文學創作介入社會、以文學開拓藝術領域的未竟之地。
In the age of multiple media and diverse schools of thought, the traditional boundaries of creative expression are gradually dissolving. In response to the contradictions, changes, and needs of our time, the Institute, with the fertile past and abundant resources in promoting the arts since the founding of the university, has adopted “Literature X Art” as a new approach. To cultivate literary talents to deal with contemporary issues, the Institute’s curriculum consists of three main parts: contemporaneity of literature, fundamental issues of contemporary literature, and contemporary writing practice. As a “Contemporary Literature Lab,” the Institute directly engages with Taiwanese society, emphasizing the dynamic development of contemporary literature, with two central features: intervention in society through literary creation and exploration of uncharted territories in the art field through literature.
